We’re always looking out for new and exciting trends to feed our interior inspiration. Vogue.com have released a decorating trends forecast for 2017 – and we think it’s bang on for what we could be seeing in the next few months! We’ve picked some of our favourite trends; read the full article here . If you’re looking to add some on-trend touches to your home this spring, we’ve added a few products we think fit the brief perfectly!

Muted Colors:  ‘“Whites, beige’s, pale greys, camel, and blush pink are super on-trend,” – Young Huh’

We couldn’t agree more, especially with the addition of greens and relaxing hues, perfect combined with geometric and textured cushions!

Geometrics:Your goal should always be to create a home that feels curated, and an easy way to accomplish this is through pattern. “Think simple lines, geometric designs, and triangles” Huh explains.’

Geometrics seem to be a trend-staple in recent months. It’s the subtle changes in line, or complexity of pattern than make all the difference. We like the simple lines approach, and the Skandihome Nils rug adds a monochromatic feel to the trend.

Greys:  ‘“We will see different tones of grey, a lot of grey and white, and grey in deeper colours,” New Jersey–based interior designer – Beth Diana Smith’

Grey and white sounds like a Scandinavian dream! We can’t get enough of bright spaces with grey tones, and hope they are here to stay for much of 2017! We love mixing up textures and patterns in grey hues, these dark grey patterned and light grey linen cushions from H&M are ideal to keep a room neutral and match with floors and walls.

Greens:  ‘Green is “strong again.” From lime green to emerald, the hue works throughout the home—whether it’s as a wall colour or a room-filling rug.

We’ve got the rug part sorted! If you’re looking for a green-hued rug to liven up your floor this Spring, check out Skandihome’s dark green patterned ‘Iris’ rug – complete with fringing and a lively geometric design. Or to add a pop of colour on a mantlepiece or side-table, our Bronze Dalahorse adds a sophisticated green and black combination to an interior scheme.
