We’re really getting in the festive mood here in London! Lights are up all around town, the chilly weather has set in and we want nothing more than to get back to our cosy homes when the evenings draw in. It’s at this point that the excitement about Christmas decoration sets in, and best efforts are made to make homes abundant with festive cheer. As we all know, white plays a huge role in many Scandinavian homes. This is to get as much light in as possible in the darker winter days. It forms a perfect base for decorations. Red, green and white create a harmonious palette, and there’s no better way to create a festive Scandi look than with lots of traditional styling and beautiful home accessories!
Bringing the outside in is a big part of Scandinavian design and Christmas is no different. Along with a tree, wreaths are placed on front doors.
