Access to and use of this website and the products and services available through this website are subject to the following terms and conditions. By using these services, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Skandihome’s relationship with you in relation to this website.

In order to contract with Skandihome you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us.

When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods.

Receipt of Order Confirmation

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order. This email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us for the purchase of the goods will not be formed until your payment has been approved by us and we have debited your credit or debit card. If you do not receive this email please contact skanditeam@skandihome.com, so that we may investigate and confirm that your order has been placed successfully.

Pricing

We maintain a competitive pricing policy; VAT will be charged at the rate applicable at the time of sale.

Prices of goods stated on the website may be subject to changes without any liability on the part of Skandihome. In such a case we will make you aware of this as soon as reasonably practicable and a full refund will be given, if required.

The total cost of your order is the price of the goods together with delivery charges. While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Title of all goods supplied shall rest with the company until payment has been received in full.

Payment

We accept online payments via Paypal, one of the largest online payment service provider.

Paypal provides a secure payment gateway, processing payments for thousands of online businesses, including ours.

It is Paypal’s utmost priority to ensure that transaction data is handled in a safe and secure way. All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate.

Discount Codes

We may from time to time offer promotional discount codes which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases made though this website.

The conditions of use relating to any discount code will be specified at the time of issue.

Product Information

Skandihome takes the utmost care to ensure that product information and colours are accurate. We do our very best to ensure that all items you see are as close as possible to the photographs shown. However, as many of them are either handmade from natural materials or hand-finished, slight variations in colour and size may occur from time to time. All products shown are subject to availability.

Returns Policy

We hope you will love your Skandihome purchase, but if you find it unsuitable or you are not entirely satisfied, please notify us within 7 days by email or telephone of your intention to return the product(s). We ask that you return products to us unused, in their original packaging with any tamper seals intact. You will be entitled to a refund or replacement if returned products (with a completed returns form) reach us within 28 days. Please ensure that returns are packed and labelled carefully so that they are not lost or damaged in transit.

Replacements for exchange of damaged goods will not be dispatched until the original item has been received at our warehouse.

Skandihome does not give refunds on the following items:
Items returned after 28 days.
Items without a completed returns form.
Damaged items not notified by telephone to us within 7 days.
Fabrics that have been cut.
Gift Vouchers. (This does not affect your statutory rights)

Cancellation

You are entitled to cancel your contract if you wish providing you act within 7 working days of receipt of the goods.

If your order has already been dispatched please follow our returns information.

Liability

Skandihome cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with instructions specifically stated on the website. When you place an order to purchase a product from Skandihome your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us by way of a dispatch note included when you receive your order. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed as accepted in such dispatch note do not form part of the contract.

Skandihome endeavours to check the accuracy of the information on this site. However, we do not warrant that such information will be error free and the user acknowledges that information, products and services published on this web site may include inaccuracies and typological errors. If the goods do not on receipt by you substantially meet the description on this web site you are entitled to reject the goods and return them to us.

Privacy

Any personal data provided will be treated as confidential in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

If you have chosen to be put on the Skandihome mailing list, we will use the information you submit to provide you with information on the services and products we offer, details of any new products or services, and information that may be of interest to you.

We also use your information to customise our products and services to attempt to serve you better, by providing more tailored products and services, and to help us understand your needs better.

Skandihome does not share its lists with any third parties.
